Niecie Thornton, 49, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022.
She was born on June 22, 1973 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Richard and Dorothy (Thacker) James . Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her life partner, Russell Tucker and her brother, Rick James.
Niecie will be remembered for her big heart and caring personality towards others. Here to carry on her memories are her loving children, Bobby Thornton, Terry Thornton, Ocean (Keelend) McKnight and Koadie (Ashley) Tucker, grandchildren, Kylend, Serenity and Trinity Grainger, siblings, Patty (Joe) Pence, Steve (Maureen) James, and Mike (Selena) James, along with her nephew, Shane (Samantha) Pence and several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy).
