Nicholas Cartergarrett Hawkins

Nicholas Carter Garrett Hawkins, 43, of Louisville, KY, passed away in his home July 5. He was born January 24, 1972 in Bloomington, IN. Nick was a graduate of Ballard High School, University of Louisville, and the University of Kentucky, School of Law. Nick will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of the outdoors and his zest for life.
Survivors include his father, George Terry Hawkins, two sisters, Brooke (Mack) Shwab and Tarah (Calvin) Rasey, both of Louisville, two nephews, Trinton and Whit, and one niece, Piper. He was predeceased by his mother, Jennifer Nichols Hawkins of Louisville, Ky.
Services will be announced at a later date. There is a visitation scheduled for 3:00-5:00pm, Sunday, July 12 at St. Francis of the Fields in Prospect.
Nick was very proud to have achieved Eagle Scout status.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to Boy Scouts of America.
