Nelson "Scott" Waldrews, 60, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. He was a proud member of 40 & 8 Voiture 1250. Scott enjoyed bingo, casino, shopping, spending time with family and friends.
He was born on October 31, 1963 in New Albany, Indiana to the late George and Anna (Miller) Waldrews He is preceded in death by his father, George Waldrews, Sr.; mother, Anna Kathryn (Frank) Leffler; and brother, John Waldrews.
Scott is survived by his brother, George H. Waldrews; sister, Lesley (Steve) Berst; nephew, Jason Waldrews; niece, Chelsea (Paxton) Schowe; niece, Emily (Nick) Bennett; nephew, Nick (Susan) Rekuch; niece, Jessica Potter; and nephew, John Waldrews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) with private burial at a later time.
The family requests that contributions in Nelson's memory be made to donor's choice.
