Nelson Antonio Sainz Granda
Mr. Nelson Antonio Sainz Granda, age 81 of Louisville, formerly of Cuba passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was a retired veterinarian. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco Sainz and Maria Granda, and brother Frank Sainz.
Mr. Sainz is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Haydee Etelvina Gimeno Benitez; daughters, Haydee Sainz Gimeno, Ana Sainz Gimeno and Maria Sainz Gimeno; grandchildren, Rafael Hernandez Sainz, Carlos Alonso Alomá Sainz and Cesar Carralero Sainz; great-grandchildren, Lauryn Hernandez, Phoenix Combs, Natalie Hernandez and Aviana Carralero Montoya.
Mass of Celebration will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2011 at the Church of the Epiphany 914 Old Harrods Creek Road Louisville, KY 40223 with Rev. Fr. Jeff Nicholas officiating. Visitation at church will be from 9 to 10:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Middletown Historic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hosparus.
