Nathaniel Darnell Pearson was born on July 8, 1975, in Louisville, KY, to the loving parents of George and Sallie Pearson. He was the youngest son of this union, surrounded by the warmth and love of his two brothers, Charles, and Richard.
As a young boy and on into manhood, Darnell was affectionately known as "Boo" or "Moon" due to his playful self and personality.
Darnell embarked on his educational journey at Wellington Elementary where he played T-Ball and later went to Western High School where he played football, where he laid the foundation for a life filled with learning and growth.
It was during his younger years, he was baptized on October 20, 1985, at the Von Spiegel Street Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. James E. Moore that's where he found solace and guidance in the arms of Christ, Darnell joined Nehemiah Baptist Church on May 9, 2010, under the leadership Rev. Cornelius Booker. On August 18, 2010, he accepted his calling from God to preach the WORD, and October 10, 2010, he preached his initial sermon dedicating himself to a life of faith and spirituality.
Darnell was an extrovert. He would go out of his way to help those he loved. It was in him to lend a helping hand even if it was just once, along the way, especially his family, and friends.
Darnell started his working career with IMA Production Co., and Mother Cookies.
On April 21, 2024, as the sun set on this chapter of his life, Nathaniel Darnell Pearson left behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, and cousin. Darnell is survived by his parents, George and Sallie Pearson who stood by his side through every joy and challenge. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his brothers, Charles (Tammy), Richard (Gina). Also cherishing many nephews, cousins, and friends who became family.
May his soul find eternal peace, and may his memory continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know him. Forever in our hearts, Darnell will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 12pm-2pm with a celebration of Nathaniel's life beginning at 2pm.
Nathaniel will be laid to rest at Green Meadows Cemetery, 3800 Shanks Lane, Louisville, KY, 40216.
Darnell's service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
