Nathan Brandon Moody

Nathan Brandon Moody, 33, passed away August 23, 2022 in Louisville, Kentucky. Nathan was born in Decatur, Alabama on December 24, 1988. He grew up in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Nathan excelled at school and graduated with Honors from Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He continued his education at the University of Southern Mississippi. After college, Nathan enjoyed traveling around the United States until he made Louisville, Kentucky his home. Throughout his life, Nathan was an avid reader and gamer. He was also an advocate and protector for those in need, especially caring for his mom when she became sick. He was fiercely dedicated to his family and his beloved pug Stella. Nathan will always be remembered for his quick wit, sense of humor, and most of all, his caring soul. May He Rest In Peace knowing how deeply loved and missed he is. Life will never be the same without him. Till we meet again.

Nathan was preceded in death by his dad Howard Lee and grandparents, Dr. Melvin and Lillian Shein.

Nathan is survived by his beloved mother, Laura Shein; sister Megan Ann Shein; brothers, Zack and Joe Moody; aunts, Denise Shein and Debra Dickerson. He is also deeply missed by his fur baby Stella.

Visitation will be from 12 to 1pm on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243, with a celebration of Nathan's life at 1pm. Burial will follow in Floydsburg Cemetery.
