Nancy June Stallard was born on the 27th of June, 1938. On the 29th of December, 2024, she gained her angel wings at the age of 86, and went to join our heavenly father above.
Nancy was loved by all who knew her. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a very strong and resilient person. Her smile was so bright, it would light up any room. She was the sunshine on a cloudy day. Nancy was an amazing person and would help anyone in need. In her earlier days, Nancy lived in Lafayette, Indiana. She met many lifelong friends during her school days, including Marlynn Funkhouser who was her “old friend” of 68 years. Nancy was presented many honors and awards during her High school graduation from Manual High School in Lafayette. She met her husband at the age of 19, moved to Ky, and they were married for over 50 years. They bought their house together in the Villa Anna neighborhood in the early 60’s, and the rest was history. Nancy was a retired Sears worker, and she also worked for Martin Flooring, and Dr. Gonzalez. She was a very loved grandmother but had many roles in her life. She was a beloved aunt and cousin. She also was a Mom in Law to Terri, and a bonus grandma to Rachel and Ryan. Nancy meant a lot to those who knew her and she made the biggest impact on everyone's life that she touched. She took being a grandma to a whole new level. She was the spirit of Christmas, she always bought things that reminded her of people, she had cards for every holiday, the best recipes, advice, and stories. Nancy would always be there to give you the right answers, and tons of laughs or great memories, but also gave you the truth when you needed to hear it. She was truly the life of the party. She loved to garden, shop, scrapbook, and take pictures. Her favorite show was the golden girls, she sure was a pal and a confidant. She will never be forgotten and her memory will live on forever. We love you to the moon and back Nana.
She was preceded in death by and reunited with her Husband, James Stallard; Mother, Ruth Pauline Basham; Father, Joseph Basham; Daughter, Sherri Lynn Robertson; Sister, Barbara Sue Douglas, and many other friends and family members.
She is survived by her two sons, James "Jimmy" Stallard, and Gary Stallard; Granddaughter, Sherri Stallard, and Great Granddaughter, Aaliyah Harbin.
