Nancy Lillian (Hermes) Massie, 78, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012 at her home.
Nancy was born on September 22, 1933 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Hilbert E. & Viola L. (Greul) Hermes. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronald William Massie, Sr.
She is survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Charles William Massie; children, Kenneth A. Massie, Sandra L. Howard (Steven), Gerald R. Massie (Cathy), & Amy Jo Massie; grandchildren, Ronnie, Christina, Cory, Chance, Katie, Jeremey, & Lisa; great-grandchildren, Tyler & Nathan.
Visitation will be from 1 PM to 8 PM on Monday, January 23, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). Her Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
Contributions in Nancy's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
