Nancy Jane Spies

Mrs. Nancy Jane Spies, age 71 passed away Friday, June 11, 2010. She was a 1959 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Loretta Kraus and brother Dr. Robert Kraus. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband, Edward Donald Spies, Sr.; children, Kelly Hatfield (David), Edward Donald Spies, Jr., Bridget Spies, Robert Spies, Wayne Spies; sisters, June Ann Buehner, Sandy Feldman brother, Dr. Wayne Kraus; 2 grandchildren, Dalton Hatfield and Hunter Luten.

Mass of celebration will be 9:30 am Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, 1104 S. 6th Street, Louisville with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8pm Tuesday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown.
