Nancy Jo (Anderson) Dyer

Nancy Jo (Anderson) Dyer, of Clarksville, Indiana, entered into eternity on August 26, 2018. She was married to Marcus Joe Dyer on May 31, 1980, and was a retired nurse from Clark Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed her job, shopping, and traveling, but most of all she truly enjoyed being with her family the most.

She was born on December 2, 1952, in Burkesville, Kentucky, to the late Shelby and Georgia Anderson. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 of her siblings, Paul Anderson, Doris Moran, and Elizabeth Meyers.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Marcus Joe Dyer; 5 children, Debbie (Phil) Andres, Dana (Ed) Morrison, Cindy (Jeff) Rexroat, Joshua (Amanda) Dyer, and Jarred (Ashley) Dyer; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a slew of kids who Josh and Jarred brought home to whom she was a second mom; 7 siblings, Louise (Sam) Wheat, Ernest (Tammy) Anderson, Frankie (Sam) Waits, Sally (Mike) Martin, Judy Thrasher, David (Paula) Anderson, and Mildred (Stevie) Key; dear friends, Kathy and Tim Gelback and Rosemary and Dan Bullerdick; and all her co-workers at Clark Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with cremation to follow according to Nancy's wishes.
