Nancy Coulter Ash, 87, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
She was born on April 9, 1935 in Louisville, Kentucky to Charles and Pearl Allen. Nancy loved being a grandmother and great grandmother. When not cooking, Nancy cared for numerous pets and could never turn away a stray animal. Nancy was the matriarch of her family, and will be sorely missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Edward Ash; her parents; 2 sisters; 3 brothers; and her first husband, Marvin Coulter.
Nancy is survived by her son, Gary Coulter (Rosanne); grandson, Jonathan Coulter; and great grandson, Gabriel Coulter.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions-East Louisville Chapel, (235 Juneau Dr.). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Stephens Cemetery (1808 Preston St.).
The family requests that contributions in Nancy's memory be made to Kentucky Humane Society.
