Nancy Sue Chancey

Nancy Sue Chancey, 84, passed away on February 27, 2023. She was a 1957 graduate of Valley High School and was a member of Valley View Church and took pride in sharing her faith with others. Nancy enjoyed fishing and spending time on the computer. She loved clowns, trains, wildlife and butterfly and bird watching. Nancy was kind, compassionate, selfless, caring and was always thinking of others first.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Chancey and her parents, Cecil and Frances Keith.

Nancy leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Rick (Tammy) Chancey; daughter Karen (Michael) Valencic; grandson, Jonathan Chancey; sister, Jeanette (Stuart) Cundiff; brother, Robert (Ed Langlois) Keith and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 12pm-4pm with a celebration of Nancy's life beginning at 4pm.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Kentucky Humane Society, East Campus 1000 Lyndon Lane, Louisville, KY, 40222, in Nancy's memory.
