Myra Bruton Taylor, 70, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023. Myra was a loving sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Myra loved the family and had a strong a relationship with her Lord and Savior.
She was born on September 26, 1953 in Winchester, Kentucky to Isaac and Mattie (Smith) Bruton. She is preceded in death by her Father, Isaac J. Bruton, Jr., Mother, Mattie F. Bruton, and Husband, Jimi C. Taylor.
Myra is survived by her loving family, Siblings, Constance E. Bruton, Jeffrey J. Bruton, and Jacqueline (Ernie) Wright, Nieces, Geneva (Aaron) Brown, Genisha (Tyree) Lee, and Nephew, Isaac J. Bruton, IV, as well as a host of cousins, family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Myra's memory be made to Local Humane Society and Dixie Animal Hospital Louisville, KY.
