Myra W. Smith

Myra Wilhelmina Smith , 102, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024. Myra was a long time volunteer for South Louisville Ministries and Meals on Wheels. She was happiest when she was with family and would always ask when the next gathering was.

She was born on November 12, 1921 in Louisville, Kentucky to Emil and Myra (Hall) Wilding. She is preceded in death by her Father, Emil Jacob Wilding, Mother, Myra Hall Wilding, Herbert E. Smith, Daughter, Particia Lynn Fricke, Grandson, Kerry Smith, and 6 Siblings

Myra is survived by her loving family, Children, Herbert Lee (Linda) Smith and Myra Ann Winstead; Son-In-law, Phil Fricke; 6 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren, as well as a host of family and friends.

The family will be having a memorial service at a later date.

The family requests that contributions in Myra's memory be made to Lynnhurst United Church of Christ or Hosparus of Louisville.
