Morris loved his Iroquois Neighborhood of 45 years. He was involved with city council to keep the neighborhood safe and make it a nice place to live. He and his wife Bettie retired to Vero Beach, Fl in 1998.
He loved sports of all kinds. He himself was an avid runner and participated in several marathons. He loved horseracing, U of K and U of L sports but his true love was baseball. He enjoyed going to the Dodgers spring camp in Vero Beach where he made many friends. When Morris made a friend they were his friend for life. He always stayed in touch. He was the kind of man who quietly visited friends in the hospital or in nursing homes often sneaking in bags of candy.
