Morris S. Hall, 59, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Morris was born March 21, 1963, to Charles Edward Hall and Nannie Sue Hall. He was a graduate of Fairdale High School. He found God at a young age and attended First Virginia Avenue Baptist Church.
Morris, better known as "Moose" to close friends, was joyous to be around. He was an avid bowler and member of several bowling leagues around the City of Louisville. He was an excellent autobody man and auto painter who worked at Jim Mayden's Auto Body Shop for numerous years, then began to freelance on his own. He loved spending time with his family and playing dominoes and spades. Morris enjoyed a lot in his life, but nothing made him more proud than being a father. It brought him so much joy to see the success of his children. He knew no stranger and will forever be remembered for his infectious laughter and his big heart.
Morris was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Hall, and his mother, Nannie Sue Hall. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Morrisa M. Benberry (Maxence Jeanty), Marquita R. Walker (Raymond), and Jasmin Paschel; grandson, Raymond Walker Jr.; brothers, Howard E. Hall and Marcus D. Hall (Debra), partner Christy Jones and life friend, Veronica Benberry; nephew, Anthony Hall and niece, LaToya Hall along with a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, March, 6, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 3pm-6pm with a celebration of Morris's life beginning at 6pm.
