Mona Lee "Peachy" (Gameltoft) Hack, 69, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016. She was often times seen with a smile on her face and she was always concerned about others. Peachy was a devout Catholic with a strong and deeply rooted faith.
She was born on January 20, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Charles and Ardella (Prechtel) Gameltoft. Peachy is survived by her children, William Hack (Kim), Geneva "Sissy" Hack (fiancé, Eric Prior); sister, Elaine Murray (Richard); and grandchildren, Lillie Hack, Nicholas Prior, Allie Cozart, and Brayden Cozart.
Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday from 11 AM to 1 PM. Her Funeral Service will take place at 1 PM on Thursday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
