Mitchell Joseph Crowe

Mitchell Joseph Crowe, 59, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024. He was a talented painter and longtime member of the Sons & Daughters of the American Legion - Shawnee Post 19. Mitchell loved being outdoors, both camping and fishing, and enjoyed spending time with his family and playing shuffle board. He was known for his collection of "durags" and being a fan of the band, KISS.

He was born on June 13, 1964 in New Albany, Indiana. Mitchell was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Crowe.

Mitchell is survived by his children, Langdon Crowe-Kessans, Lauren Hutt (Tanner), Lanaé Crowe; grandchildren, Konnor Kessans, Adrian and Myah Hutt; mother, Brenda (Gibson) Ray; and friend, Tina Baird.

Mitchell's wish was to be cremated and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with his care.
