Minnie Mildred Coleman

Minnie Mildred (Henderson) Coleman, 95, of Sellersburg, Indiana passed away peacefully on Monday, January 3, 2011. Minnie was a member of First Baptist Church in Sellersburg, a great housekeeper and devoted wife and mother. Minnie enjoyed cross stitching, cards, games and raising them "mean kids".

Minnie was born on November 21, 1915 in Clark County, Indiana to the late John and Anna (Manley) Henderson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George M. Coleman, Sr.

She is survived by her son, George M. "Buzz" Coleman, Jr. and his wife, Loretta, of Sellersburg, Indiana; daughters, Janie Davis and her husband, Brent, of Sellersburg; Janet Phelps of Jeffersonville, Indiana; Linda Foor and her husband, Donald, of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kierce Ann Tucker of Sellersburg; grandchildren, Keith Foor (Debra), Angela Shelton (Craig), Kelly Hoover (Scott), Carla Coleman, Brian Davis, Brandy Henderson (Tony), Steven Tucker and nine great grandchildren.

Her Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM on Thursday, January 6, at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southern Indiana Chapel (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana). Her Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery.
