Minnie Maxcine Bald

Minnie Maxcine Bald, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on June 8, 2016. She retired from General Electric, attended Lincoln Institute and worked in the nursing field. She gave her life to Christ at a young age at Woodsonville Baptist Church in Hart County Kentucky later joining First Baptist Church of Jeffersontown.

Maxcine was born on April 19, 1936 in Hart County, Kentucky to the late John and Minnie (Thornton) Best. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Marsha McCoomer, former husband Johnnie Bald, brothers, Ray Best and Howard Best.

She is survived by her children, Johnnie R. Bald (Paulette), Cynthia Ann Summers, Gwendolyn B. Jones (Charles), Gregory Louis Bald, Calvin D. Bald (Renee), Yvonne E. Bald-Jones (Joey), sisters Emmer Kinnard, Urldine Best, and brother John Best.

She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday, June 12, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Jeffersontown 10600 Watterson Trail Louisville, KY 40299

Her funeral ceremony will be held Monday, June 13, 2016 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Jeffersontown with burial to follow at Middletown Historic Cemetery.
