Mildred Pearl Gibson , 89, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022. Mildred was a member of St. Paul's Missionary Church at Shively Heights. She retired as an Office Clerk from Western High School.
She was born on March 28, 1933 in Saul, Kentucky to Elige and Rose (Rice) Bowling. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Donald Ray Gibson, and Parents.
Mildred is survived by her Daughter, Donna (Dean) Preston, Granddaughter, Leslie (Shaun) Hassler, Great-Granddaughter, Abigail Hassler, Sister, Rose M Warren, Brothers, Cile (Delphia) Bowling, and Kenneth Young.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
The family requests that contributions in Mildred's memory be made to St. Paul Missionary Church at Shively Heights.
