Mildred G. Allen-Parsons

Mildred G. Allen-Parsons, passed away on August 15, 2013. She was a native of Hardin County and resided in Munfordville, KY. She is the daughter of Robert E. (Wanda) Allen and Katherine M. Cooper. She graduated from Central Hardin High School. Mildred was an avid animal lover, enjoyed collecting angels and loved being outdoors. Mildred was a loving and caring person to all she met and was always encouraging others. One of Mildred's passions was entertaining every year, for six weeks, at the yearly haunted house in Eastview, KY. She was always pulling pranks on someone.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Juanita E Allen; grandfathers, Delbert Allen and Simon Daugherty; grandmother, Iva P. Daugherty; uncles, Leonard Allen, Samuel Daugherty and Charles Daugherty.

Mildred is survived by her precious sons, James Brandon Allen and Austin Garrett Carter; her parents; sister, Samantha (Marvin) Skaggs; brother, James (Leila) Allen; grandmother, Dora B. Allen; several aunts and uncles and 4 very special friends, Gina Hall, Sue Parrish, Pam Miller and Gina Gattati.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 18, from 3pm-6pm and Monday, August 19, from 10am-11am at Fairfield Baptist Church, Eastview, KY. Her funeral service will be Monday, August 19, at 11am at Fairfield Baptist Church, Eastview, KY. Burial will be at Pole Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Cecilia, KY.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy be made to the family.
