Mrs. Mildred Lucille Durr Chandler, age 91, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010.
She retired from the old Middletown Water Co. and was a life member of Middletown United Methodist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, David Chandler; parents, Thomas and Gertrude Durr; brother, T.L. "Bud" Durr and his son, Larry.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara C. Sorrell and husband Kenneth and their sons, David Sorrell and Christopher Sorrell and his wife April, their daughters Chandler and Rebekah Sorrell; a brother Edward Durr and wife Janet and their daughter Paula; niece, Jane Sanders and her husband Larry; brother-in law, Paul Chandler and wife Frances; and sister-in law, Edith Cox.
Funeral ceremony will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 25, 2010 at Middletown United Methodist Church 11902 Old Shelbyville Road Louisville, KY, with burial in Middletown Historical Cemetery. Visitation will be noon-6 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Dr., Middletown, KY.
Expressions may be made to Middletown Methodist Church or KY United Methodist Homes for Children and Youths.
