Mikey Steven Wallace

Mikey Steven Wallace, 47, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Mikey was caring, silly, mischievous, and an avid lover of tennis shoes with an extensive Jordan and Nike collection. He had a beautiful smile and loved his family. Mikey loved to watch movies, sports, working out, and loved to look his best. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was born on August 29, 1975 in Louisville, Kentucky to Michael and Sherry (Vardeman) Wallace. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frankie & Dorothy Vardeman and Tiny & Brona Wallace; sister-in-law, Rosemary Wallace; uncles, Donnie Vardeman, Davy Vardeman; and cousin, Bonnie Mattingly.

Mikey is survived by his loving family, parents, Michael and Sherry Wallace; sister, Beth (Josh Misner) Wallace; brother, Troy Wallace; son, Dylan (Sam Henson) Strawhorn; daughter, Bella Wallace; grandchildren, McKenzie Strawhorn, MaKayla Strawhorn, Jadyn Strawhorn; nephews, Troy "Boogies" Wallace, Jr., Gavin Misner; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Michael's memory be made to Arc Recovery Centers.
