Mike O'Hearn , 62, of Caneyville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019 with his Nephew, Elliott Downey, III and his family by his side.
He was born on October 31, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky. Mike was a Vietnam Era Veteran of the United States Army. He was known as "Uncle Mike" and "Great Uncle Mike" to everyone. Mike enjoyed traveling, fishing, horses, camping, motorcycles, and there wasn't a couch he wouldn't lay on.
Mike is survived by his, Mother, Lillian O'Hearn, Daughters, "Nicky" Kimberly (Jason) Goben and Kristy (Chris Sheppard) Yates, Amie and Shawn, Jessy Tran, Fiance, Debra Welch, 11 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, 7 Sisters and 4 Brothers.
He is preceded in death by his Father, William O'Hearn, Step-Father, Odell Holman, Brothers, James Holman, Keith Holman, Sister-in-Law, Marie Holman, Brother-In-Laws, Elliott Downey, Jr. and Leno Gallegos, Nephews, Jerry "Scooter" Williams, Michael Wayne O'Hearn, and Great Niece, Lillian Skye Stuart.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
The family requests that contributions in James 's memory be made to Wounded Warriors Project.
