Mike "Paddle Foot" Johnson, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020.

He was born on May 19, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Leonard and Myrlene (Edmonds) Johnson. He was a retired boilermaker from the Local 40. He loved going to Churchill Downs especially the Kentucky Derby (attended 55 straight Derby's), U of K fan, and spending time riding his Harley's. He was an animal lover taking in ever stray.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Eric) Sebastian, son, Jeremy (Mallory) Johnson, son, Jacob Michael (Kate) Johnson, 8 grandchildren, Savana Sebastian, Bryson Sebastian, Braxton Sebastian, Tayler Johnson, Tucker Johnson, Turner Johnson, Sam Johnson, Zoey Johnson, 2 great grandchildren, Stella Doblado, Oaklee Doblado, sister, Susie (Leonard) Carpenter, nephew, Derek (Stephanie) Carpenter, niece, Courtney Carpenter.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). The family requests that everyone dress casual for the visitation.

The family requests that contributions in Mike's memory be made to Louisville Humane Society or Toys For Tots.
