Michelle Lee Ware

Michelle Lee Ware, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024. Michelle was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. She had a strong faith and relationship with God. Michelle loved her family and enjoyed making memories with her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, flowers, decorating with antiques, and loved fashion. Michelle was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was a wonderful cook. Most importantly, Michelle was a kind woman who welcomed everyone with open arms and was a mother to so many. She will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on April 28, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky to Thomas Rudolph Jones and Dorothy (Young) Ware . She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Ware.

Michelle is survived by her loving family, sons, Chris Ware, Chad Ware, Carey McNeil, Jr.; granchildren, Mia Ware, Jaiden McClellan, Shealyn Ware, Chad Ware, Jr., Lyric Hassan, De'Vontae Ware, Julia Sindelar, Christopher Ware, Jr., Amelia Ware, Xavier Ware; siblings, Jean Harris, Larry Ware, Tiajuana (Robert) Mills, Frederick Ware, Michael Ware; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A celebration of her life will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel.
