Michael Eugene Wright

Michael Eugene Wright, 74, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020. Mike was an avid golfer. He was a talented builder and loved putting his time into different projects. He will be dearly remembered for his sense of humor and always having a good joke to tell.

He was born on December 7, 1946, to the late William and Nancy Wright. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Wright.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Edna Wright; daughter, Carrie (John) Coaplen; son, Eric (Debbie) Wright; son, Matt Wright; daughter, Lindsey Wright; sister, Claudette Clark; brother, William (Peggy) Wright; and grandchildren, Ella, Elsie, and Ethan.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Cremation was chosen following Mike's wishes.
