Michael Anthony Woulfe

Michael Woulfe, 61, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Mike enjoyed cooking and loved to fish, as well as carrying on conversations with everyone he met, including strangers. Mike was a big U of L fan and loved Denny Crum. He also loved the Cincinnati Reds and the Big Red Machine era.

He was born on August 5, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Timothy Woulfe and Amie Howell Woulfe. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Timi Woulfe.

Mike is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Laura Woulfe; son, Tyler Woulfe; sisters, Teresa Woulfe and Cindy Alvey. The family would like to thank his friend, Robert Tracey, for his dedication to Mike in providing transportation to appointments during his illness, as well as his close friendship through the years.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen following Mike's wishes.
