Michael Edward Wilder

Michael Edward "Mike" Wilder, 61, passed away on June 19, 2024. He was an avid boater, enjoyed spending time at the lake while entertaining family and friends. Mike was an avid craftsman and handyman. One of his greatest talents were building and remodeling homes. Mike travelled the Unites States seeing many places as a commercial trucker. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye and brought him so much joy. Mike was always welcoming others with open arms and was a friend to all. You could find him on the weekends playing chess, shooting pool or spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Wilder and Ann Fey; step-father, Eugene Fey, Sr. and his brother, Johnny Wilder.

Mike leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters, Amanda (Mike) Brooks and Laura (Freddie) Bruner; grandchildren, Anna, Abigail, Brently and Beckham; siblings, Tina Dick, Terry Grant, Jimmy (Lisa) Wilder, Gene (Pam) Fey and Barbara Fey; closest friends, Tom and Lisa Simpson and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial gathering for Mike will be on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Riverside, Farnsley-Moreman Landing, 7410 Moorman Rd, Louisville, KY 40272, from 12pm-5pm.
