Michael Wayne Raymer

Michael Wayne Raymer, age 67 of LaGrange, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was a native of Louisville and an accomplished artist and musician. Some of his works are currently residing in the Smithsonian Museum. He was a Blues harmonica player and was well-known for his involvement in the local area. He was a loving man who had many, many friends and was a wonderful father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Dora Dean Smith Raymer, and his brother, Billy Raymer.

Michael is survived by his loving children, Daniel, Aaron and Gabrielle Raymer; grandchildren, Raymond, Ezekiel, Isabella, Olivia, Shane and Rico; daughter-in-law, Addie Raymer; companion, Donna Keeling; his loving pet, Ben; and a host of relatives and friends.

There will be a Memorial Benefit at Stevie Rays located on Main St. Louisville,KY on Sunday June 29,2014 at 4pm with a ten dollar charge at the door.
