Michael Wayne Survance

Michael "Mick" Survance, 72, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Mick was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He was an entrepreneur who started two successful businesses and retired in 2009. He was a humanitarian who delivered for Meals on Wheels and was a sponsor for Christians Children's Fund. He was also a devoted lover of his four legged children and all animals. He was an avid sports fan who's favorite teams were the Houston Astros and the Louisville Cardinals.

Mick had a great sense of humor and a very loving and generous heart. He will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who knew him.

He was born on October 27, 1950 in Decatur, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his Father, John N Survance and Mother, Evelyn C. Survance.

Mick is survived by his loving Wife of 25 years, Debra Kay Survance; Sons, Shannon M. Survance and Rob M. (Mary Bridges) Survance; Grandchildren, Faith A. Survance and Anthony W. Survance; Great-Granddaughter, Emalynn A. Smith; Brother, John D. (Sharon) Survance; Niece, Terrie Nelson; Nephews, Michael S. Survance and Drew Survance; Great-Nephews, Ryan Nelson and Justin Nelson; Great-Niece, Christen Palomino.

The family will be having a celebration of life service at a later date.

The family requests that contributions in Mick's memory be made to Diabetes Association.
