Michael Ray Stuppy, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023.
He was born on December 18, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Raymond and Virginia (Lang) Stuppy. He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Stuppy.
Michael was a member of Southeast Christian Church in Crestwood, an Army Vietnam Veteran, and was well loved, respected and admired by his family and friends.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Cheryl (Beaver) Stuppy, daughter, Carrie Mayes (Mark), son, Eric M. Stuppy (Kathy), grandchildren; Joshua (Shelly), Amanda, Laura (Joe), Jessica(Nicole), Jackson, Sophia and great-grandchildren; Cole, Ava, Lochlan, Kailey, Amelia, Emma Jane and Levi Austin.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Southeast Christian Church Crestwood Campus, (6220 Crestwood Station, Crestwood, KY 40014) with entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East, (11601 Ballardsville Road, Louisville, KY 40241).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions in Michael's memory be made to The Wounded Warriors Project.
