Michael Alan Pinkerton Sr., 87, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023. Mike was a long-time member of Grace Lutheran Church in New Albany and a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.
He was born on August 13, 1936 in West Chester, Pennsylvania to Neilson Pinkerton and Sara Kaufman Pinkerton. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of almost 56 years, Lois Pinkerton; and sister-in-law, Jane Pinkerton.
Mike is survived by his children, Michael Pinkerton Jr. (Stephanie) and Jennifer Senn (Pat); brother, Bruce Pinkerton; grandchildren, Jessica (Terry), Savanna, Robert, and Emily; and great-grandchildren, Tristan, Avalynn, and Addison.
Cremation was chosen following Mike's wishes. A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany).
The family requests that contributions in Mike's memory be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105).
