Michael D. Pate

Michael D. Pate, 53, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Michael enjoyed to cook and most importantly loved spending time with his family and his chow (dog) Thunder Boy. He was a devoted sports fan especially Louisville Cardinals and Atlanta Braves. Michael kept track everyday of sports stats and scores.

He was born on October 1, 1970 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Michael D. and Ruth Ann (Hockersmith) Pate, Sr. He is preceded in death by his parents and loved one Ruth Ann Hughes-Pate.

Michael is survived by his loving daughter, Katrina (Nelson) Bradshaw; grandchildren, Nathan and Caiden Bradshaw; sister, Kimberly (Mike) Pate-Terry; brother, Darren Pate; niece, Destinee (Cody) Himebaugh; nephew, Chance Pate; great nieces and nephew, Evelyn, Maverick, and Octavia; and step-mother, Linda Pate, Tennessee.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday, July 8, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Memorial service will be at 6:00 pm on Monday, July 8, 2024 at the funeral home.
