Michael Wayne Ogle

Michael Wayne Ogle, 71, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025. Michael had a passion for riding motorcycles and created an outside family of his fellow riders. He enjoyed racing cars at Louisville Motor Speedway and Sportsdrome. Michael will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on March 8, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to Edward and Dorothy (Orwick) Ogle. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Sherman Ogle; mother, Dorothy Mary Ogle; and brother, Charles Ogle.

Michael is survived by his loving family, brother, Doug Ogle; sisters, Wanda (Kenneth) Terry, Charlotte (Phillip) Minton; niece and nephews, Matthew (Stacey) Ogle, Ronnie Ogle, Bruce Ogle, Krista Bell, Kenny Minton; sister-in-law, Betty Ogle; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 21, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. His Funeral Service will be at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel. Michael will be laid to rest privately at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
