Michael Nevins

Michael P. Nevins, 62, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013. He enjoyed classic cars and drag racing in his younger years.

Mike was born on December 23, 1950 in New Albany to Dorothy (Knight) Nevins and the late Earl Nevins. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby, Bruce, Karl, and Harvey Nevins. Along with his mother he is survived by his children, Randy, Shelly, Mark, Patty Ann; brothers, Richard, Nelson, and Billy Nevins; 3 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 24, 2013 from noon to 4 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be held at 4 PM in the chapel at the funeral home with cremation to follow.

Burial will take place at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany. Memorial contributions may be made to Kosair Charities (982 Eastern Parkway, Louisville, KY 40217).
