Michael Lee Moore

Michael Lee "Mikey" Moore, 45, of English, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. He was a roofer by profession, capable of building anything with his hands. Mikey was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and University of Louisville Cardinals. Mikey loved being an uncle and spending time with his family and friends.

He was born on July 21, 1976, in New Albany, Indiana. Mikey is survived by his mother, Geraldine (Reader) Shireman; sister, Michelle Silver; cousins, Patricia Foreman, Roger Palmer (Maryetta), Mary Sheckells (Roger), Kristina Palmer, Mackenzie Bird, Deven Bird, and Gary Goodson, Jr.; stepfather, Allen Shireman; as well as many additional nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Cremation was chosen, and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with his care. Contributions in Mikey's memory may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
