Thomas Michael Masden

Thomas Michael Masden, of Louisville passed away on December 5, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. 

Tom, a U.S. Army veteran, was a native of Louisville. He is survived by his wife, Erika; their daughter, Sabine DeFilippo (Michael); siblings David (Sue) of Louisville; John (Debbie) of Shepherdsville; Lois Ann (Rick Fischer) of Brooks; and Marty (Cheryl) of Louisville; his German family, Inge and Erhard Ammerbacher and Otto and Gabi Riedl; and his many nieces and nephews both here and in Germany. 

Tom was cremated in accordance with his wishes. A private service will be held at a later date. 

The family would like to take this opportunity to show their appreciation for all of the physicians, nurses and staff at Robley Rex VA Medical Center for their amazing care and support throughout Tom’s life, as well as everyone at Hosparus of Louisville for their kindness and assistance.
