Michael L. Tompkins

Michael L. Tompkins, age 75 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013. He retired from Phillip Morris after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his son Shawn, his parents, James and Blanche Tompkins and many brothers and sisters.

Mr. Tompkins is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Phyllis; his children, Michael P. Tompkins (Mary Ann), Paul Allyn Tompkins (Leo), Thomas J. Tompkins (Heather); grandchildren, Ian, Alex, Marc, Shawn, Stuart and Eric; brother, Jerome Tompkins (Joan); sister-in-law, Eileen Tompkins; and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends.

A Memorial Mass of Celebration will be held 10am Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Ascension Catholic Church,4600 Lynnbrook Dr Louisville, KY 40220, with private burial. Memorials may be made to the Center for Women and Families.
