Michael "Mike" Kerger

Michael "Mike" Kerger, 65, of Rineyville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022. Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His passions in life were working on vehicles and loving on his pets. Mike will truly be missed by all his family and friends.

He was born on January 6, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to Frank and Norma (Duerr) Kerger. He is preceded in death by his Father, Frank Paul Kerger, Jr., Mother, Norma Jean Kerger, and Sister, Pat Johnson.

Mike is survived by his loving family, Wife, Deborah Kerger; Children Amanda D. (James) Boyd, Timothy M. (Lesa) Kerger, and Mark T. Kerger; Grandchildren, Tyler (Ashley) Gordon, Trent Gordon, Hallie Kerger, Kierra Kerger, Bryce Kerger, Ava Hoffman, Stacey Kerger, Eveleigh Kerger, Mark Kerger, Jr., Axel Kerger, Ryder Probus, and Nova Kerger; Great-Grandson, Braydenn Gordon; Sisters, Mary (Joe) Kelty and Lynn (Alex) Allgeier, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky on Wednesday October 19th at 12:30pm.
