Michael Jeffrey Houchin

Michael Jeffrey Houchin, age 21 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017. He graduated from Waggener High School in 2013. He was employed with Hampton Inn and was an avid gamer. Michael had a beautiful smile and a loving soul. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William "PaPaw" Hickerson, Jr., Jim Stapleton and Ralph Houchin.

Michael is survived by his parents, Rachele Thomas (Archie) and Jeffrey Houchin; sister, Danielle Selby (Marquis Spicer); grandparents, Jo Ann Hickerson, Louise Stapleton and Dan Selby (Ramona); aunts and uncles, Angie Trombley (Clyde), Cheryl Sneiderman (Ned), Kelli Colbert (Morgan), Shannon Ensor (Brian) and Billy Hickerson (Tara); nieces and nephews, Jordyn Selby, Jacob Selby and Marquis Spicer, Jr.; 21 loving cousins; a host of relatives, family and friends.

Visitation will be 5-7pm Friday, February 24, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, followed by a celebration of Michael's life at 7pm.
