Michael DeWitt Gray, born on March 6, 1956, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and simplicity. Throughout his life, Michael was known as a devoted master electrician at Arrow Electric for more than 25 years, where he earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients alike. His expertise in the field was matched only by his genuine warmth and good-hearted nature.
A man of simple pleasures, Michael found joy in the little things in life. He cherished spending time with his best friend Rob, engaging in their shared passion for fishing. Additionally, he delighted in the thrill of playing lottery scratch-offs, often approaching the game with a playful spirit that many admired.
In his personal life, Michael was especially proud of his role as a Paw Paw to his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His family was his greatest joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them, fostering memories that will last a lifetime.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and camaraderie that will continue to inspire those who knew him. Michael DeWitt Gray will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but for the deep connections he forged with friends and family throughout his life. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Edward and Verna Irene Gray and brother-in-law, David Thomas.
Michael leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughters, Gloria Gray, Sarah (Matt) Dunaway, Lacey Rieber and Erin Gray; grandchildren, Jordan, Dylan, Gage, Andrew, Anna, Ava and Mason; great-grandchildren, Eli and Kane; siblings, Nancy Thomas, Butch (Debbie) Gray and Barbara Gray and numerous nieces and nephews.
