Michael Lee Dyer

Michael Dyer, 82, died on December 4, 2023. Mike was born in Chickamauga, Georgia on April 25, 1941. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Texas Tech University and enjoyed a long career in engineering, sales, and human resources. Mike lived in various cities throughout his life, including Manila, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and in Louisville for the last 18 years. After retirement, he and his wife traveled the U.S. and Canada for many years in a motorhome and very much enjoyed their 'life on the road'. In recent years, Mike mastered his woodworking skills, building his kitchen cabinets and other beautiful creations.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents Frank Dyer, and Jean Roberts, and stepfather, Alan Razovsky.

He is survived by his beloved wife of over 57 years, Lundie Roche Dyer, son Scott Dyer (Elizabeth Monohan), daughter Sara Flora (Brian), brother John Dyer (Linda) of Evansville, IN, and his grandchildren, Ryan Flora (Kirbey), Sydney Flora, Walt, and Cora Dyer.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 12th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Newcomer East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Ky 40243. A private internment service will occur at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Mike's memory to Feed Louisville.
