Michael Andrew Dudek

Michael Andrew Dudek, age 25 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018. Michael was born on February 9, 1993 in Louisville. He spent his childhood growing up in Oldham County and moved to Louisville shortly after turning 18. Michael loved to learn. He was enrolled at JCTC, but his joy, and where earned a living, was working as cook learning from some of the best chefs in Louisville. Michael loved all aspects life and enjoyed even the smallest of life's gifts, but it is people that Mike loved more than anything. In just moments he would make a stranger feel like a brother or sister. Michael is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Larry Bruner and his paternal grandmother Judie Dudek.

Left to cherish his memory are his grandparents, Patsy Bruner, Tom Dudek and Sue Lewis (David); his parents, Scott Dudek (Jami) and Jennifer Ellis (Jerry); his brother Aaron Dudek (Ree); and sisters, Cassidy, Caitlin and Olivia Dudek; his niece, Maddie Dudek and nephew Theodore Dudek; along with many uncles, aunts and cousins; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 2:30 - 5 pm on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with a celebration of Michael's life at 5pm.
