Michael Dale Yochum

Michael D. Yochum, 45, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014. He was a United States Navy veteran and an employee at Beach Mold and Tool. Mike loved spending time with his family, coaching his boys in basketball and baseball, as well as taking them hunting and fishing.

Mike was born on February 14, 1969 in Louisville, Kentucky. He is survived by his wife, Bridgett (Heaverin) Yochum; sons, Ryan and Dylan Yochum; parents, Eddie and Betty (Thompson) Yochum; brother, Wayne Yochum; parents-in-law, Tim and Gail Heaverin; sister-in-law, Angela Jacobi (Jeff); grandmothers, Sylvia Robertson, Jean Heaverin; nephew, Jarrett Jacobi, niece, Ashley Jacobi; many cousins and good friends.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 8 PM Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday after 9 AM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church (5719 St. Mary's Road, Floyds Knobs, IN) with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
