Michael Alan Cross, 73, formerly of Denison, Texas, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014 in New Albany, Indiana. He retired from General Mills after 10 years of service. Michael was recognized by the State of Texas for his volunteer work with the preservation of cemetery headstones of Grayson County.
Michael was born on July 16, 1941 in Denison, Texas to the late Alan & Blanche (Webb) Cross. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Cheri Cross; brother, David Cross.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mamie Cross; son, David Cross and his wife, Mary; granddaughter, Amber Cross; grandson, Michael Cross II.
Cremation was chosen following Michael's wishes.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army.
