Michael Carter, 54, of Louisville, KY, passed away on September 16, 2013. He was employed with ECM.
Michael was born on January 29, 1959, in Louisville, KY to Vernon "Pete" and Carolyn (Gowan) Carter. He was preceded in death by his mother; Carolyn, and sister; Shannon Renee Davis.
Michael is survived by his wife, Star Duncan Carter; sons, David Ray Carter and Jonathan Kenneth Carter (Samantha); brother, Kenneth Ray Carter; eight grandsons and one granddaughter; loving Mother-in-Law, Mable Westbay; and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). Funeral Ceremony will be held Thursday at 12:30 pm at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Gowan Cemetery in Green County, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
