Melvin K. Reidinger, 72, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2011.
Melvin was born on June 1, 1939 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Leo & Frances (Akerman) Reidinger. He worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service where he later retired.
Melvin is survived by his children, Tim Reidinger (Jennifer), Philip Reidinger (Sandra), Kristine Hook (Kelly), Janine Fertig (Steve), & Melina Tucker (Curtis); brother, Leo Reidinger, Jr.; sisters, JoAnn Gettelfinger & Delores Gettelfinger; and his many loving grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen and a Memorial Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Memorial Service immediately following at 1 PM at the funeral home.
