Melanie Eibeck Maxwell-Huff

Melanie Eibeck Maxwell-Huff, 52, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Melanie was an animal lover who spent time helping pets in need. She enjoyed spending time at home, due to her illness. Melanie loved to shop and was always looking for a bargain. She formerly attended the Okolona Church of Christ. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

She was born on February 5, 1970 in Louisville, Kentucky to Gary and Cherrlynn (Broin) Eibeck. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Cherrlynn Eibeck, Grandmother, Geraldine Broin.

Melanie is survived by her Father, Gary Eibeck, Sons, Tyler (Amanda) Maxwell, Chase Maxwell (Jake), and Bryce Maxwell, Grandson, Brooks Maxwell, Companion, Rob Huff, Sisters, Valerie (Mark) Davenport, and Katrina (Michael) Hardin. Melanie also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.

The family requests that contributions in Melanie's memory be made to Humane Society or American Cancer Association.
